The fire safety equipment manufacturer HD Fire Protect has opened its IPO subscription window, positioning itself to tap the capital markets. The issue has been priced at a range of Rs 258 to Rs 271 per share, with investors required to bid for a minimum lot comprising 55 shares.

At the upper end of the price band, retail investors would need to deploy a minimum capital of approximately Rs 14,905 to apply for one lot of shares. The company has structured the offering to accommodate various investor categories, including retail, non-institutional, and qualified institutional buyers.

Market observers are tracking the subscription response closely, with gray market premiums (GMP) providing early indicators of investor appetite. The GMP reflects expectations for listing gains once the shares commence trading on the stock exchanges following the allotment process.

The IPO comes as HD Fire Protect looks to strengthen its balance sheet and fund expansion initiatives in India's growing fire safety and protection equipment sector. The company has positioned itself as a significant player in providing fire detection and suppression solutions across industrial and commercial segments.
