HDFC Capital Advisors Ltd and DivyaSree Developers have unveiled a ₹1,500 crore residential development platform to accelerate housing project acquisitions and construction across India's key urban markets. The partnership was announced on Monday by DivyaSree Developers, a Bengaluru-based real estate developer with established credentials in residential project execution.
The platform will provide DivyaSree with growth capital to support the acquisition and development of residential projects over a three to four-year timeframe. The partnership targets residential developments in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai—markets experiencing robust demand for quality housing. The combined efforts are expected to generate potential revenue of ₹6,750 crore.
Vipul Roongta, Managing Director and CEO of HDFC Capital, highlighted India's residential real estate sector as presenting significant institutional investment opportunities. He noted that sustained demand for high-quality housing across urban markets continues to underpin sector growth. The collaboration leverages DivyaSree Developers' market expertise and development capabilities alongside HDFC Capital's institutional backing and financial resources.
The platform's focus on Tier-1 cities reflects broader trends in Indian residential real estate, where major metropolitan centres have attracted substantial institutional investment amid rising urbanisation and middle-class housing demand. The partnership exemplifies growing collaboration between financial institutions and established developers to scale residential project delivery.
