Health Department Names Venkataramana as In-Charge Public Health Director

The state government has appointed Venkataramana as In-Charge Director of Public Health, effective from October 1. He assumes the position following the retirement of current Director Padmavathi, whose tenure concludes on September 30.

Venkataramana's appointment marks a transition in the leadership of the public health department at a critical juncture for healthcare administration across the state. His responsibilities will encompass overseeing public health initiatives, disease surveillance, and coordination with district-level health authorities.

In related administrative changes, the government has appointed Prabhakar Reddy as Superintendent of Nandyal Government General Hospital. The reshuffle reflects the government's efforts to strengthen healthcare management and institutional leadership.
