The Ministry of Health has advised the public to exercise caution regarding hydrogen inhalation devices being promoted locally, noting that such products have not received clearance from the Medical Device Authority (MDA).
The ministry's alert comes as these devices are increasingly marketed to consumers with claims of various health benefits, despite the absence of proper regulatory review or approval. Without MDA authorisation, the safety and efficacy of such devices cannot be verified, the health authorities emphasised.
