The advisory comes as fraudsters attempt to exploit public interest in the convenient service by setting up fake registration portals and collecting personal information from unsuspecting applicants. The Ministry has emphasised that legitimate applications should only be submitted through verified government platforms.
Citizens interested in the UMP programme are advised to visit the official Ministry of Health website or contact authorised service centres directly for registration. The service, designed to improve medication accessibility, has attracted significant uptake since its launch, making it a target for scammers seeking to harvest personal and financial data.
