Gurugram experienced the brunt of the weather system, receiving approximately 40mm of rainfall that inundated low-lying areas and key thoroughfares across the city. The downpour triggered widespread waterlogging, leaving commuters stranded and forcing many to abandon their vehicles on flooded roads.

Faridabad, located adjacent to Gurugram in Haryana, recorded a relatively lower 12mm of rainfall but still witnessed traffic congestion as water accumulated on several stretches. Rush-hour commuters faced extended delays as civic authorities worked to clear affected routes.

The rapid onset of waterlogging highlighted ongoing concerns about drainage infrastructure in both satellite cities of the National Capital Region. Local traffic police diverted vehicles away from waterlogged areas to prevent accidents and allow drainage operations to proceed efficiently.

As weather conditions stabilized, authorities urged residents to exercise caution on roads and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy precipitation. Meteorological agencies indicated that the weather system was expected to move away from the region in coming hours.
