The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued the advisory at 2 p.m., warning of significant rainfall in Zambales province and the Bataan municipalities of Dinalupihan, Hermosa, and Morong.
A yellow rainfall warning indicates that moderate to heavy rain is expected to impact the affected areas, with potential for localized flooding and water accumulation in low-lying zones.
Residents and local authorities in the warned municipalities were advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. Pagasa recommended avoiding unnecessary travel and staying alert for any changes in weather conditions.
The state weather bureau continues to monitor atmospheric conditions and will issue updates as the situation develops throughout the afternoon and evening.
