Heavy rains trigger landslide along road in Ilocos Norte town

A landslide affected a portion of roadway in Barangay Pancian in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Monday, amid wet weather conditions affecting the region. The incident occurred as intermittent rains moved through various areas of the province.

Pagedpud police personnel conducted an immediate inspection of the affected site to assess the scope of the ground movement and evaluate the state of the thoroughfare. As of mid-morning Monday, officials were still documenting the incident's full impact on traffic and infrastructure in the area.
