HFCL bags ₹2,329-crore optical fibre cable supply contract

Hindustan Fiber Optics Limited (HFCL) has clinched a significant supply deal worth ₹2,329 crore with a global multinational corporation, reinforcing its position in the optical fibre cable segment. The three-year agreement, which extends through December 2029, will see HFCL deliver high-fibre-count optical fibre cables to the customer.

The contract underscores growing demand for advanced optical fibre infrastructure across telecommunications and data networks in the region. High-fibre-count cables are essential for supporting expanding broadband connectivity and 5G deployment initiatives.
