High-speed collision kills man, injures wife in Greater Noida

A tragic road accident in the Bisrakh police station area of Greater Noida West has claimed one life and left another critically injured. The incident occurred when a Thar SUV collided violently with a scooter, sending both riders sprawling on the roadway. The scooter's 40-year-old operator, identified as Neeraj, succumbed to his injuries during emergency treatment at a nearby medical facility. His wife, who was riding pillion, sustained serious injuries in the collision and is receiving medical care. Local police said the SUV driver abandoned the vehicle at the scene and fled the area immediately after the crash. Officers have seized the Thar and launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the absconding driver. Preliminary findings indicate the SUV was traveling at high speed at the time of impact.
