Himachal temple receives significant gold and silver donations for renovation

Renovation work is progressing rapidly at the Sri Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham shrine located in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. The temple administration has announced plans to utilise donated precious metals for critical restoration components, including the sanctum sanctorum embellishments and the main deity's ceremonial seat.

The donation of 3 kilograms of gold is designated for the construction and ornamentation of the temple's principal throne, which holds significant religious and historical importance. The 600 kilograms of silver will be allocated toward decorative and structural enhancements within the inner sanctum.

The renovation initiative reflects ongoing efforts to preserve and upgrade the temple complex's physical infrastructure and sacred spaces. The project encompasses both structural reinforcement and aesthetic restoration work aimed at maintaining the shrine's architectural and spiritual significance.
