Hindalco Industries Ltd on Friday reported robust second-quarter results driven by strong performance across its business segments. The Aditya Birla Group flagship posted consolidated net profit of ₹7,533 crore for the September quarter of FY27, up 58.8 per cent from ₹4,741 crore in the corresponding period of FY26.

Revenue during the quarter climbed to ₹92,651 crore, a 39 per cent increase from ₹66,771 crore in the year-ago period, according to a BSE filing. The company attributed the record performance to the strength of its integrated business model, which spans both upstream and downstream operations across its aluminium and copper segments.

Hindalco's operations encompass the entire metals value chain, balancing raw material extraction and primary metal production with value-added fabrication and finished product manufacturing. This diversified portfolio structure enabled the company to capitalise on favourable market conditions across multiple business verticals during the quarter.

The results underscore Hindalco's strategic positioning as India's leading integrated metals producer, with capabilities spanning from ore extraction through to consumer-facing finished products.
