Dennis Quaid has cut the listing price of his Brentwood Hills mansion from $5.2 million to $4.6 million, according to property market reports. The actor acquired the Los Angeles home in 2017 for $3.9 million and subsequently invested in comprehensive renovations to upgrade the residence.
Quaid and his wife, Laura Savoie, have chosen Nashville, Tennessee as their main home, signalling a significant shift in their residential priorities. This relocation appears to have prompted the decision to exit the California real estate market.
The price reduction reflects broader concerns the actor has expressed about living in Los Angeles. Quaid has previously cited escalating tax burdens and governance issues in California as factors influencing his decision to leave the state. The revised asking price aims to attract buyers in an increasingly competitive luxury real estate market.
The property sale comes amid changing preferences among entertainment industry professionals, with several notable figures reassessing their California presence in recent years due to cost-of-living considerations and state policy concerns.
