Housing Ministry reports six initiatives exceed performance targets

PUTRAJAYA — The Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) reported on Monday that six strategic initiatives have exceeded their performance targets, marking significant progress in urban infrastructure development across the country.

The initiatives encompass improvements to public toilet maintenance standards, upgrades to market facilities, and enhancements to drainage systems in various localities. According to the ministry's assessment, these programmes have delivered results beyond their original targets, demonstrating the effectiveness of the coordinated implementation efforts.

The ministry attributed the successful outcomes to streamlined management practices and increased resource allocation directed towards priority infrastructure areas. The initiatives reflect the government's commitment to improving public amenities and maintaining standards of urban cleanliness and market operations.
