Houthis claim drone strikes on Saudi airport, oil facilities
The Yemen-based Houthi movement claimed responsibility for drone attacks targeting Najran airport and Saudi Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia. The attacks mark the latest in a series of aerial strikes claimed by the group against Saudi infrastructure.

The Houthi movement said it carried out coordinated drone strikes against two targets in Saudi Arabia, including an airport in the southern Najran region and facilities operated by the state oil company Saudi Aramco. The group has not provided details about casualties or damage from the attacks.
The claims come as tensions remain high in the region following years of conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Iranian-backed Houthis. The militant group has previously conducted numerous drone and missile attacks against Saudi targets, citing the kingdom's military campaign in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia has maintained an extensive air defence system and regularly intercepts projectiles launched by the Houthis. The kingdom has not yet issued an official statement regarding the latest claimed attacks.
The Houthis have increasingly used drone technology to strike at Saudi infrastructure over the past several years, disrupting oil production and raising international concerns about regional stability. The group views such operations as retaliation for Saudi-led military operations in Yemen's ongoing civil conflict.
