Houthis Report Dozens Killed in Saudi Coalition Air Strike

The Houthi faction operating in Yemen said Saturday that a Saudi-led coalition air strike had killed at least 25 people, without providing immediate details about the location or circumstances of the reported attack.

Saudi Arabia, which commands the multinational military coalition engaged in the protracted conflict with the Iranian-backed Houthis, has not yet commented on the claims. The coalition has conducted extensive air operations across Yemen since its intervention began, citing counter-terrorism objectives.

The Houthis have frequently reported civilian casualties from coalition strikes, accusing the alliance of indiscriminate targeting. Independent verification of casualty figures from the conflict remains difficult, and casualty claims from all sides have been contested throughout the dispute.

The Yemen conflict has created one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises, with millions facing food insecurity and limited access to medical services. The fighting has also displaced hundreds of thousands of civilians from their homes across the impoverished nation.
