HP Board opens 2026 exam registration for Classes 9 and 11

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has initiated the registration process for students appearing in Classes 9 and 11 board examinations in 2026. The move follows recent revisions to the board's examination regulations aimed at streamlining the enrollment procedure.

Students seeking to register for either class must submit their applications on or before October 15. Each applicant is required to pay a registration fee of ₹200 to complete the enrollment process. The board has not announced any exemptions or fee waivers at this stage.

The revised examination framework represents the board's effort to modernise its operations and ensure timely completion of registration before the 2026 examination cycle. Schools and educational institutions across Himachal Pradesh have been advised to facilitate the registration process for their eligible students.
