HSC Results 2026: Step-by-step guide for students

Students who appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations in 2026 can retrieve their results using several convenient methods established by the Bangladesh Education Board. The results are typically made available through the official website of the education board, allowing candidates to check their marks within minutes of the announcement. Authorities generally declare results in two phases, with General and Vocational streams releasing their marks on separate dates. To check results online, students should visit the official education board portal and enter their roll number, registration number, and examination year in the designated fields. The system will display individual subject marks, total score, and grade information once verified. In addition to online portals, results are also available through SMS services operated by major telecommunications providers in Bangladesh. Students can send their roll and registration numbers via text message to designated numbers to receive their results instantly. For those preferring offline access, results are posted at respective educational institutions, and students can collect printed result sheets from their schools. Officials recommend that candidates verify all details on their results carefully and contact their institutions immediately if discrepancies are found. The education board typically provides a window of several days for students to download and print their results from official platforms before processing applications for higher education admission.
