Hubballi seeks new air routes to key Indian business hubs

City officials and business leaders from Hubballi have launched efforts to establish direct air services linking the Karnataka city to three major destinations across western and northern India. The proposed routes to Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Jodhpur in Rajasthan, and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh would significantly enhance connectivity for the region's business community and tourism sector.

The delegation's push comes as Hubballi seeks to strengthen its position as a regional aviation hub. The addition of these routes would complement existing flight services and provide improved access to important commercial centers, particularly benefiting traders, entrepreneurs, and travelers from the Dharwad-Hubballi industrial region.

Ahmedabad, a major manufacturing and textile hub, and Jodhpur, a key business center in Rajasthan, represent significant economic opportunities for regional commerce. The proposed Varanasi route would also open connections to one of India's most important cultural and religious destinations, with strong tourism potential.
