Hung Yen province inaugurated four major digital initiatives as part of preparations for Vietnam's 2026 Law Day celebrations. The launch underscores the country's broader push to digitalize its legal and justice infrastructure across regional and national levels.

The new systems comprise a grassroots mediation database equipped with artificial intelligence lookup and consultation capabilities, a provincial bailiff record database, a provincial justice digital data centre, and a digital communications centre operated by the Department of Justice. These platforms are intended to streamline justice administration and improve access to mediation services at the community level.

The rollout reflects Vietnam's commitment to modernizing its legal framework. In parallel efforts, the National Assembly recently approved a revised law to modernize legal education, while the country has also moved to strengthen law enforcement cooperation with international partners including India and Greece through legal training and education initiatives.

Provincial officials view the digital transformation as essential to enhancing service delivery and institutional efficiency within Hung Yen's justice sector. The AI-powered mediation database is expected to reduce processing times and improve accessibility for residents seeking conflict resolution services.
