Hyderabad's Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has pushed for an accelerated rollout of a combined Metro-RTC pass, signalling administrative priority for the integrated mobility initiative. The joint ticket system would allow commuters to seamlessly travel across the city's metro rail and bus rapid transit networks using a single pass.

The move addresses long-standing commuter demands for streamlined cross-modal transport access in the city. By consolidating separate ticketing systems, authorities aim to reduce barriers to public transport adoption and improve the overall commuting experience for residents.
