Hyderabad deploys 20,000 police for annual Ganesh idol immersion procession

The Hyderabad Police have announced comprehensive security measures for the upcoming Ganesh idol immersion procession, deploying approximately 20,000 personnel to manage the 19-kilometer route expected to draw large crowds of devotees. The deployment represents one of the city's largest security operations during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival season.

Official preparations include traffic management, crowd control, and surveillance across the entire immersion route to accommodate the massive participation anticipated during the religious event.
