The victim, a resident of Hyderabad, was fatally wounded during the airport assault while traveling with his family. His two sons were injured in the same incident, while his wife and daughter escaped unharmed. Besides the immediate family members, the victim's aunt was also present at the airport and sustained head injuries during the incident. She is reported to have received medical attention for her wounds.
