Hyderabad Metro and MMTS to operate extended services on September 25

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited and South Central Railway's (SCR) Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) have announced special operating schedules for September 25, extending their services beyond regular closing times.

The decision to run additional evening and night services comes as the authorities anticipate higher passenger volumes on the day. Regular commuters and those travelling for special events or occasions will benefit from the extended operating hours on both networks.

The Hyderabad Metro, which typically concludes operations at 11 p.m., will maintain its services longer to accommodate the expected rush. Similarly, the MMTS, which serves as a crucial link in the city's public transportation ecosystem connecting suburban areas to the city centre, will also extend its schedule accordingly.
