A police officer engaged in crowd management duties during Ganesh Chaturthi immersion festivities in Hyderabad was fatally struck by a two-wheeler on Tuesday, authorities said. Sub-Inspector Venkanna was hit by an unidentified motorcyclist who fled the scene immediately after the collision.
