Hyderabad RPO to Open 4,000 Passport Appointments for November Mela

The Regional Passport Office (RPO) Hyderabad has announced a dedicated passport mela scheduled for November 21 to expedite passport processing and related services. The initiative will make available 4,000 appointment slots to address the growing demand for passport services in the region.

The mela will cover three primary categories of services. These include applications for normal passports, Tatkaal (urgent) passport services, and Police Clearance Certificates (PCC). The move aims to provide residents of Telangana and surrounding areas with enhanced access to essential passport facilities on a single designated day.

Tatkaal passport services are designed for applicants requiring urgent documentation for travel purposes, while normal passport applications follow the standard processing timeline. The Police Clearance Certificate service caters to individuals needing certification for emigration, employment, or other official purposes.

Prospective applicants are advised to register and book their appointments in advance through the official Passport India portal to secure a slot during the mela. The RPO Hyderabad has encouraged eligible candidates to avail themselves of this opportunity to reduce processing delays and expedite their applications.
