Hyundai Motor India posts record 82,299 unit sales in October

Hyundai Motor India Limited reported total sales of 82,299 units in October, marking its best monthly performance to date. The figure represents a 17.7 per cent increase compared to the same month last year, reflecting sustained consumer appetite across segments.

Domestic sales comprised 62,799 units, up 16.7 per cent year-on-year, while export shipments reached 19,500 units, growing 21.1 per cent. The company attributed the performance to heightened demand during the festive season, which saw consumers prioritising vehicle purchases ahead of major celebrations.

Tarun Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Motor India, noted that momentum in both domestic and export markets contributed significantly to the record sales. He highlighted the company's recent launch of the BAYON, described as an Intelligent Utility Vehicle, as a catalyst for future growth.

The BAYON will be offered across more than 50 export markets, strengthening India's position as a critical manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai's global operations. The automaker continues to expand its product portfolio to capture emerging segments and sustain growth momentum in the competitive Indian automotive market.
