ICICI Bank expands Pune office footprint with new lease agreement

ICICI Bank has secured additional office space in Pune as part of its expansion strategy in the western Indian city. The bank has leased 3,347 square feet of commercial real estate, bringing its consolidated footprint at the property to 6,141 square feet, according to lease documentation.

The lease agreement stipulates a monthly rental of ₹2.5 lakh, translating to an annual commitment of ₹30 lakh. The rental structure includes an escalation clause that provides for a 10 per cent increase in lease payments every three years, a standard feature in commercial real estate agreements in India.

The expansion reflects ICICI Bank's continued investment in its operational infrastructure across major Indian cities. Pune, as a growing financial and IT hub, has emerged as a key location for banking and financial services establishments seeking to enhance their on-ground presence.

The enlarged office space will support the bank's operational and administrative functions in the region. Such leasing arrangements are typical for major banks managing their real estate portfolios across multiple locations to optimize space utilization and support business growth initiatives.
