ICICI Securities Lifts Coforge Price Target on Strong Q2 Performance

IT services company Coforge has impressed analysts with its second-quarter performance, prompting ICICI Securities to elevate its price target on the stock. The brokerage cited robust business momentum evidenced by substantial order intake during the quarter, signaling strong demand for the company's digital transformation and IT services offerings.

Coforge reported fresh order intake of $1,040 million during Q2, marking a significant 50.6% sequential increase from the previous quarter and a year-over-year surge of 102%. The order intake substantially outpaced the company's historical average run-rate of $612 million, demonstrating accelerating business traction.

The quarterly order intake aligns closely with management guidance indicating fresh bookings would exceed $1 billion, underscoring the company's ability to translate market demand into concrete commitments. This performance trajectory has bolstered analyst confidence in Coforge's medium-term growth prospects and competitive positioning within the IT services sector.

ICICI Securities' upgraded price target reflects increased conviction in the company's ability to sustain this momentum as enterprises continue prioritizing digital infrastructure investments and technology-driven business transformations across India and global markets.
