Iconic tusker Abhimanyu granted special Dasara appearance for ceremonial farewell

Abhimanyu, the 60-year-old tusker who has been a centrepiece of Mysuru's Dasara celebrations for decades, has been granted special permission to make an appearance during this year's festival in October. The legendary elephant, affectionately known as 'Nishane Ane' among devotees and locals, will be featured in the grand Jamboo Savari procession that marks the culmination of the ten-day Dasara festivities.
