A case of biological rarity has emerged in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, where identical twin sisters encountered difficulties updating their Aadhaar records due to matching biometric identifiers. During a routine Aadhaar update, officials discovered that the twins' retina patterns and fingerprints were indistinguishable, triggering the system's duplication protocols.
The biometric conflict created a procedural impasse wherein updating one twin's Aadhaar profile would automatically result in the rejection of the other's application.
