Iligan closes Tambacan Bridge for major rehabilitation work
Iligan City will implement a full road closure along Mariano Lluch Badelles Sr. Road in Barangay Tambacan beginning Thursday to allow rehabilitation of the aging Tambacan Bridge. All vehicular traffic will be banned from the affected section during the work period.

ILIGAN CITY — City authorities will enforce a complete road closure on a section of Mariano Lluch Badelles Sr. Road in Barangay Tambacan starting Thursday, October 1, to facilitate extensive rehabilitation of the Tambacan Bridge.
The closure was authorized under Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 26-670, which prohibits all vehicles from accessing the affected road segment during the rehabilitation period.
The bridge work is expected to improve critical transportation infrastructure serving the barangay and surrounding areas. Residents and commuters have been advised to seek alternative routes during the closure.
No timeline has been announced for the completion of the rehabilitation project. Motorists are urged to plan their routes accordingly to minimize disruptions to their daily activities.
