Iligan couple exchanges vows after 16 years together in mass wedding

ILIGAN CITY — After sharing a home and life together for nearly two decades, Danna and Erwin Juntilla finally made their union official through matrimony last week.
The couple exchanged vows during the Asenso Iliganon Mass Wedding, a community initiative by the local government unit providing free wedding services to couples. Mayor Frederick Siao presided over the ceremony, which united 71 couples in civil marriage.
The mass wedding program reflects efforts by Iligan City officials to remove financial barriers to legal marriage, enabling couples to formalize their relationships regardless of economic constraints. The Juntillas' 16-year partnership culminated in their participation in the initiative.
The Asenso Iliganon program underscores the local government's commitment to supporting family formation and providing accessible civil services to residents across the city.
