Ilocos Norte schools receive nearly 100 laptops for digital learning initiative
Two public elementary schools in Ilocos Norte received a combined 95 laptops on Tuesday as the government expands its E-TURO Digital Learning System to enhance classroom instruction across the region.

San Nicolas Elementary School and Dingras West Central Elementary School were the recipients of the technology rollout, which forms part of the Department of Education's broader Enhancing Teachers' Unimpeded Rational Objectives program. San Nicolas Elementary received 47 units while Dingras West Central Elementary obtained 48 laptops during the formal turnover and deployment ceremony held in the province. The E-TURO Digital Learning System aims to equip public schools with technology infrastructure to support modern teaching methods and improve student learning outcomes. The initiative represents ongoing efforts by the national government to integrate digital tools into classrooms across underserved regions in the Philippines. Officials have indicated the program will continue rolling out to additional schools as part of plans to strengthen educational technology access nationwide.
