ILOILO CITY — Long queues formed at petrol stations across Iloilo City on Monday as drivers sought to fill their tanks before a steep fuel price adjustment took hold Tuesday.

Oil companies announced sweeping increases across all fuel grades, with diesel prices climbing by P8.82 per liter, kerosene rising P6.47 per liter, and gasoline jumping P4.88 per liter. The hikes represented some of the largest single-day increases seen in recent months, triggering a rush among motorists attempting to purchase fuel at current prices.
