ILOILO CITY — Health officials in Iloilo province have found no cases of haze-related illnesses despite ongoing visibility of the atmospheric condition across multiple municipalities, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said Friday.
In a monitoring report released at 10:30 a.m., the PDRRMO indicated that none of the province's five congressional districts had recorded any individuals affected by the haze.
The announcement comes as the province continues to track air quality conditions across affected areas. The PDRRMO has maintained close coordination with health facilities and local government units to document any potential health impacts from the visible haze.
While the haze remains visible in several municipalities, provincial authorities have not documented cases of respiratory or other health problems directly attributable to the atmospheric phenomenon. Continued monitoring efforts are underway to detect any changes in the situation.
