The Bureau of Immigration stated that it found no legal grounds to prevent the departure of Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano and Senator Pia Cayetano, who traveled to Singapore this week.
According to immigration authorities, the senators boarded their flight to the city-state on Wednesday and successfully cleared customs procedures. They arrived at Singapore's Changi Airport later that day, confirming their exit from Philippine territory.
"The Bureau of Immigration confirms that Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Pia Cayetano are currently out of the country," the agency stated in its announcement.
The confirmation marks the completion of their departure without any reported complications or legal impediments. Immigration officials indicated there were no outstanding matters that would have warranted restricting the siblings' travel.
