India bloc tensions flare in UP as allies trade barbs over campaign visits

Yadav's decision to focus on Raebareli, a Congress stronghold, prompted Rai's counter-threat, signalling growing competition between alliance members over territorial control and electoral strategy.

The Samajwadi Party characterized its campaign activities as part of the broader struggle against what it termed oppression by the BJP government. However, the party did not directly address the Congress leader's challenge. The BJP seized on the public spat, describing it as evidence of desperation and internal discord within a faltering opposition coalition.
