India demands Pakistan take concrete action against cross-border terrorism

India's Ministry of External Affairs has stressed that Pakistan must undertake substantive steps against cross-border terrorism to convince the international community of its stated intentions. The demand follows security incidents including the Pahalgam attack last year, which heightened concerns over militant infiltration from across the border.

India has consistently maintained that rhetorical commitments from Islamabad are insufficient. The government has called on Pakistan to move beyond declarations and implement verifiable, irreversible actions that demonstrate a genuine renunciation of support for cross-border militant groups.
