The win extended India's advantage in the five-match series to 2-1, positioning the hosts to potentially clinch the contest with two fixtures still to play.
The match result reflects India's growing momentum in the bilateral series, having recovered from an earlier setback to establish a winning position. West Indies, seeking to level the series, will need to demonstrate significant improvement in the remaining encounters to mount a comeback.
