India Gold Metaverse (IGM) on Tuesday announced the appointment of Nirakar Chand as Managing Director of BullionX, its dedicated bullion trading vertical. The appointment marks a significant leadership addition as the company seeks to expand its footprint in India's precious metals market.
Chand brings extensive credentials to the role, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Diamond India Ltd. Over nearly four decades in the sector, he has developed deep expertise across bullion markets and the broader precious metals ecosystem, positioning him to lead IGM's bullion operations.
In his new capacity at BullionX, Chand will oversee growth initiatives, coordinate industry engagement, and spearhead nationwide market development efforts. IGM CEO and Managing Director Lamon Rutten said the appointment would strengthen the company's leadership cadre as it pursues its strategic vision.
BullionX operates as one of four core platforms within IGM's portfolio, alongside Elanzia, RamMudra, and GoldSense. The company has positioned itself as a provider of technology-driven infrastructure for India's precious metals trading sector.
