India Hikes Passport Fees Across All Categories, Relaxes Child Rules

India's Ministry of External Affairs has unveiled a revised passport framework that introduces fee increases across multiple service categories while simultaneously easing certain documentation requirements. The fee hike will apply uniformly to fresh passport issuance, renewal applications, Tatkaal (expedited) processing, replacement of lost or damaged passports, and Police Clearance Certificates (PCC).
