India launches first LNG-powered train with dual-fuel capability
India has flagged off its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered train, marking a significant milestone in the country's railway modernisation efforts. The development follows the earlier introduction of hydrogen-powered trains and represents a major step toward cleaner rail transport.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the country's inaugural LNG train, which has been equipped with a dual-fuel propulsion system.
