India is poised to take a leading role in advancing next-generation medical practices on the global stage, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Saturday. Addressing the inaugural Aarogya Shikhar Samman medical investiture ceremony organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the International Medical Sciences Academy, Singh highlighted the country's significant progress across life sciences and emerging areas of medical research and technology.

The minister characterized the current period as a transformative moment for the medical profession, driven by the emergence of cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping healthcare possibilities. However, Singh cautioned that realizing the full potential of these advances would require achieving an optimal balance between technology-driven medical practices and established clinical medicine.
