India-Sri Lanka ODI relocated to Visakhapatnam from Delhi
India's opening one-day international against Sri Lanka scheduled for December 13 has been shifted to Visakhapatnam following a request from the Delhi and District Cricket Association for a venue change.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed the relocation on Thursday, moving the fixture away from the national capital to the coastal city in Andhra Pradesh. The change came after the Delhi and District Cricket Association formally requested an alternative venue for the match. Visakhapatnam's Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Complex will now host the opening ODI of the series between the two neighbouring nations. The reasons cited for the venue shift were not immediately specified by the cricket board. The relocation marks a significant change to the scheduled itinerary for India's bilateral engagement with Sri Lanka, with the December 13 encounter set to be the series opener. Fans in the national capital will be disappointed by the decision, though the shift provides an opportunity for cricket enthusiasts in Andhra Pradesh to witness international cricket.
