India to roll out first dengue vaccine in early 2027

India is poised to introduce its first dengue vaccine in the coming year, marking a significant development in the country's efforts to combat the mosquito-borne viral disease. The Central Drugs Standards Organisation (CDSCO) has granted marketing authorisation to Takeda Pharmaceutical's QDENGA vaccine, clearing the path for its commercial availability.
