India, U.S. seal defence pact for Javelin anti-tank missiles

India and the United States have concluded a procurement agreement for the Javelin anti-tank missile system, signalling a strengthened defence partnership between the two countries. The Javelin system is a portable, shoulder-fired anti-tank guided missile that has established itself as a critical capability within global militaries.
