Indian Idol Returns With Legends; Fans Question Absence of Season 12 Winners

The newest iteration of Indian Idol has brought back several former participants and established music industry figures to the competition stage, generating significant viewer interest. However, the absence of two prominent alumni from the twelfth season has sparked considerable discussion among the show's fanbase.

Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal, who emerged as standout performers during Season 12, have not made appearances in the current season despite the broader return of past contestants. Both artists had garnered substantial audience appreciation through their memorable vocal performances and stage presence during their original run on the platform.

The non-appearance of the two former winners has left audiences wondering about their current commitments and career trajectories. Fans have expressed their curiosity through social media platforms, with many noting the impact both artists made during their time on the show.

Indian Idol continues to leverage its format of featuring returning talents alongside new competitors, a strategy that has historically resonated with its domestic audience. The show remains a prominent platform for identifying and promoting singing talent across India's entertainment industry.
