Jewellery stocks delivered solid gains on Tuesday, with Sky Gold and Diamonds leading the charge as investor sentiment turned positive towards the sector. Sky Gold shares surged as much as 4.07%, while peer Senco Gold advanced over 3% during trading. Kalyan Jewellers India, another major player in the retail jewellery space, climbed more than 2%. Broader market heavyweight Titan Company also participated in the rally, though with more modest gains of around 0.5%.

The across-the-board advance suggests a pickup in investor appetite for jewellery retailers, traditionally a barometer of consumer sentiment and discretionary spending in India. The gains come as gold prices have stabilised in recent weeks and festive season demand patterns continue to support the sector. Analysts attribute the rally to improved market conditions and renewed interest in jewellery equities after a period of relative underperformance.

The jewellery sector remains closely watched by market participants as an indicator of consumer health and purchasing power in India, given the cultural significance of gold and jewellery purchases during festivals and auspicious occasions.
