Indian motorcyclist killed in collision with van on Da Lat mountain pass

Emergency services responded to a serious traffic incident on Prenn Pass, a major mountain route connecting Da Lat city in Vietnam's Central Highlands, after two Indian nationals traveling on a motorcycle collided with a van traveling in the opposite direction.

One of the motorcyclists was pronounced dead at the scene, while his companion sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Local authorities did not immediately release the identities of the victims or details regarding the van's occupants.

Prenn Pass, located in Lam Dong Province, is a frequently traveled mountain corridor known for its steep gradients and winding roads. The incident adds to growing safety concerns on the route, which sees regular traffic between Da Lat and surrounding areas.
